We’ve applied the principle of the two-piece pin locking system -- popularly used with shovel teeth -- to the retention of dragline clevis pins.
No burning, no welding
To speed installation and reduce downtime, the Columbia design requires no burning or welding during pin replacement. To install:
- Insert the rubber lock into the clevis recess;
- Slide the main body pin into place;
- Drive the retainer pin into the key slot until flush.
- To disassemble, simply reverse these steps.
Enhanced interchangeability
Columbia clevises are engineered to accept OEM-style main body pins as well. Our design is available for clevises, drag/dump shackles,and hitch clevises that use 6-inch pins, and the hitch clevis comes complete with a 6-inch pin bushing. We encourage your inquiries about other sizes.
